1. Read & Write Unit 6 Laughter  Writing
- Grammar: sentences with when -> A. Speak the answers.
=> B. Write the answers
=> Pair Choose a sentence and add three sentences to explain it. => Speak -> Ask 
1. I always laugh a lot when I hear a joke. Jokes make me feel relaxed. 
When I’m relaxed, I tend to laugh easily. That’s why jokes make me laugh. => What about you? 
- Writing Skill: Writing a topic sentence-> A.=> B: TS <-> CS
- Unit Assignment: Blog Write a paragraph about what makes you or someone you know laugh.
- A. Brainstorm: Choose one or come up with a type and complete the chart
- B. Plan: 1. Write a topic sentence => 2. Complete the outline: TS, SSs, CS <- Tip

2. Cover to Cover Unit7  Intelligence  Part 2  Animal Intelligence
- Introduction Experiments: Chimps, Gorillas, Dolphins
- Vocabulary Before Reading: Monkeys vs Apes (1:04)
- monkey: with tails, tree-dwelling except baboons 
-ape: no tails; orangutans, gorillas, chimpanzees, humans  
- Comprehension Strategy: Scanning -> Choose words to scan=> Task-A
1. prick up one’s ears - (a horse or dog) make the ears stand erect when on the alert.
- to listen carefully: The children ~ed their ears when they heard the word “candy.”
- Skimming => Read the title, first and last par, first sentence (topic) of par.2-5
=> Pair Discuss the topic of each paragraph
1st: Animal researchers have learned ~ mental or cognitive abilities of animals
