I’m afraid of heights/don’t have a head for heights. I can’t look out of the window on any higher floor than the second. Flying on an airplane is the last thing I want to do. When I have to get on an airplane, I always sit on the aisle seat. As for a hotel room, many people want a room on a higher floor but I always ask for a room on the lowest floor available.  (71 words)

This article is about how television makes people believe the world is more dangerous than it is and how people react to it. 
When people see TV news programs that show and overstate violent crimes, people tend to believe that there is more crime than really is.
And then they become more afraid than necessary, less interactive with others and less healthy. (62 words)
