a brief summary of the article in five to six sentences.
Coober Pedy is a remote town located in South Australia where high temperatures
go over 50 degrees Celsius in summer.
Despite
this outrageous heat and isolation in the outback, people started moving in this place to dig opal
over a century ago.
Also, more tourists are visiting this remote, isolated town
to enjoy extraordinary landscape and experience.
In order to
escape from the extreme heat, people dug the
hillside to create underground homes, called dug-out.
These underground homes are facilitated with all modern
necessities and comforts such as lighting and plumbing these days.
There are
even dug-out hotels that
lure tourists who want to experience unique yet comfortable stay in this
old mining town in the outback under sizzling heat.
